Hansbrough got hammered

He might have been making an "effort" to go for the block with the other arm, but I think he was definitely leading with his elbow on the contact arm. It looked like a high-elbow drop in wrassling. I'll say this, this is the second time this week that something really dangerous and stupid has happened regarding physical contact and college basketball. I remember seeing a special on Shaq and seeing all the hard contact he got. Basically, he made the statement that if he was going to go through that type of physical punishment because nobody could stop him, he was going to get paid to do it. Look for Hansbrough to leave early. I wouldn't blame him a bit.

hey people, does up 12 points with 14 seconds to go mean anything to you all. It's impossible to score that many points that quick, take your studs out of the game to keep them from getting hurt, any idiot knows that. As far as the elbow goes, I saw two different things from different angles. The first angle looked like he clocked him on purpose, but the second angle showed clearly that he was trying for the block and turned his body when the other duke player was going up too, i don't think it was intentional, don't think he should have gotten ejected but thats the rules i guess.

Well why didnt Duke take their starters out then? Obviously they were still trying to win, they were still pressing. Roy had a guy at the scorers table getting ready to go in for TH. TH was the shooter so when he missed the free throw, the kid at the scorers table couldnt go in until the next dead ball. Roy is a class act, he wouldnt just try to embarrass duke like that.

Well I'm a Duke fan and I believe that was a cheap shot, I say Henderson was taking out a little steam...

if you will watch the replay the duke player that was behind him had him around the neck which forced him henderson's way, if he would have been able to get the shot off henderson would have never touched him.

IMO if Hanbrough misses any games then Henderson should be supspended for however many games T has to miss. Blatant(sp) cheap shot by another Duke thug.

Just curious, up by that, getting the offensive board, wouldn't the best idea be pulling the ball back out, running clock. Trying to go for the shot is trying to get a bit of extra IMO.
